Why 5 Years?
A new bathroom is an investment; one that you want to make sure lasts. Here at Bathroom Studio Design, we have over 2 decades of experience in designing and installing bathrooms in the Essex area. We have seen the good, and the not so good when it comes to installation.
The following issues tend to occur 12-42 months after a bathroom has been installed. This is why we believe in order to provide a complete, luxury service; we offer a generous 5-year installation warranty.
Plumbing
The saying is true, “you get what you pay for”. Installing a new bathroom comes with various costs. Many budget installations are done by one or two people. The person who completes the tiling, may also install the plumbing to save on labour and tradesmen costs.
Plumbing issues are often out of sight, out of mind. As such, you may be blissfully unaware of any plumbing issues for years after installation. Consequently, standard warranties have often lapsed, and you are faced with the cost of fixing the issue. We only use highly experienced, individual expert tradesmen for all our bathroom installations.
Improper Ventilation
Regardless of size, it is important that each bathroom is designed with proper ventilation. However, budget designers often do not take this into account. Therefore, you can be left with mould and mildew all over your new bathroom. If your bathroom is installed in warmer months, you may not see the damage for up to a year after installation.
Not only will mould and mildew ruin your new bathroom, but certain strains of mould can be incredibly harmful to your lung health.
