Shower Tanking - Wetrooms - Level Access

A cold applied, self adhesive , water-proof membrane consisting of a thick bitumen based layer that incorporates a woven glass fibre mesh on one side for the application of tiles.

It can be fixed to masonry, concrete or plasterboard to form a secure internal watertight structure.

Once the Aqua-Dec has been fitted into place and all the drainage connected the Tilesafe tanking membrane is applied to the surface of the Dec and overlapped onto the existing floor and up the walls(recommended overlap 500mm).

Because there is no curing time you can tile the same day, plus you can walk on it as soon as it has been fitted.

Important Note: - The MAXIMUM weight limit for Tilesafe when applied to walls is 20kg/m².  Which typically equates to a maximum thickness of 10mm including the thickness of the tile and the depth of the bed of adhesive.
